The art & science of neurodiversity affirming feeding support

Ended
674 Australian dollars
The Assembly Hall - Boyd Community Centre

Service Description

Pull up a chair, a wobble cushion, a balance ball, or simply stand and join us for a full-day, face-to-face workshop where neurodivergent dietitians, Natasha Lane and Anna Rose, deep dive into the art and science of authentic, neurodiversity-affirming feeding and eating care. What’s on the table? Designed for feeding and eating clinicians working with neurodivergent children, young people and their families who are ready to level up their feeding and eating practice, our training: Combines lived experience, research, and clinical insights to help you disentangle adaptive neurodivergent feeding and eating behaviours from those which need clinical support. Provides you with the essential foundations to facilitate the design of practical, individualised, neurodiversity-affirming strategies that prioritise safety, respect self-determination, recognise intersectionality, and actually work in the real-world. Aims to create a safe space where together, we can reflect on our personal biases, scope of practice, and ethics of care, as we work together to navigate this fast-evolving clinical landscape. When: 31st May 2025 Time: 9am - 5pm Where: 207 City Rd, Southbank Price: $674 (GST inc) Catering: BYO

We are committed to delivering high-quality courses and appreciate your understanding of our booking and cancellation policy, which is necessary due to the structured nature and limited capacity of our training programs. Please carefully read the following policy regarding cancellations for our training courses: Non-Refundable Enrollment: All fees paid for enrollment in our training courses are non-refundable. By registering for a course and making payment, you acknowledge and agree to this non-refundable policy. This policy is in place due to the costs associated with course preparation, materials, and securing your place in a program with limited capacity. Commitment to Attendance: Your enrollment secures a specific place in the chosen course. Non-attendance, for any reason, will result in the forfeiture of your course fees. We encourage you to ensure your availability before committing to a booking. Our Right to Cancel or Postpone: The Neurodivergent Table reserves the right to cancel or postpone a training course due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, facility issues).
